Scalina

About

Most agenciespick a side.

Some make the content that gets a business noticed. Others build the software that lets it operate. Scalina does both. One team for the work that brings people in, and one for the work that keeps them.

We’re an Australian creative, growth and technology agency. Sydney-born, working nationally. The businesses winning right now are the ones that show up everywhere and run on systems that don’t break under the weight of it. So we build both halves, and we don’t hand the middle to anyone else.

Two specialistteams, one roof

Not a generalist team stretched across a service list. Two teams that do different work, in the same building, on the same brief.

How we work

Four things we hold to, including the one that costs us work.

  1. 01

    No handover between the halves

The people making the content and the people building the system are in the same studio, on the same brief. Nothing gets thrown over a wall, and nobody gets to blame the other side of it.

  2. 02

We won’t run growth into operations that can’t carry it

If the campaign would generate more enquiries than the business can answer, that is not a campaign problem and more spend will not fix it. We will say so, and we will offer to fix the other half first.

  3. 03

    Real numbers only

Every figure we report is verifiable in the platform it came from. We don’t publish results we cannot show you the account for, and we don’t write testimonials on a client’s behalf.

  4. 04

We own the loop, not one stage of it

Attract, Amplify, Convert, Operate. Most agencies own a single stage and hand you the rest as your problem. Owning all four is the only way the handover cost disappears.

Proof, not a claim

Every number here can be traced to a folder, a repository or an account. Almost no agency at this level ships software, so a good share of it is software.

Suhan Shanker, founder of Scalina
“We started building software because clients kept asking for it, and kept getting quoted six figures for something that should have taken six weeks. Now we won’t run growth for a business whose operations can’t handle it, because we’ve watched that go wrong, and it’s not a campaign problem.”

Suhan Shanker, Founder

Both halves.That’s the whole job.

The businesses winning right now are the ones that show up everywhere and run on systems that don’t break under the weight of it.
